Ladder Binary options are fast becoming a popular way to trade in the binary option world.

Apart from the standard up down binary trades with odds under 2, ladder binary options gives the trader a range of bets above and below the strike price with different odds, so you can trade on less or more likely options.
The term ladder comes from the strike prices that you have the option to trade as in the picture (ladder).
Even though the odds may be less or more in ladder binary options, please remember that losses may still exceed some, if not all your deposits.
Ladder options was first introduced by IG options, a binary broker we recommend and who is regulated as a way to give the binary option trader a variety of choices to trade from.
To trade using ladder binary options, you must have a strategy in place and learning all you can about Binary option charts is key.
One method that we use in the Simple moving indicator strategy.
You can use this method to make an informed decision about when to place a trade.
We set two simple moving average lines on our chosen currency.
If you are using a binary option broker that does not have a chart where you can add indicators, you can use freestockcharts.com.
It's free and simple to use (if you follow the instructions, we will post a video of how to do this soon).
First select your chosen currency (for this example we will use EUR / GBP.
Then add your first simple moving average indicator and set it to 10 and the colour to red.
Then add your second simple moving average indication and set it to 4 and the colour to green.
The reason we set the colours to the same as the candles is because it is easier to know when to place a bet higher or lower, whilst looking at the lines.
Method
When the green crosses the red we will place an up trade for the next ladder option above the current price for double the time of your candle preference.
If you are watching the candles in 1 minute we place the trade for 2, 5 mins for 10
30 mins for an hour and so on.
To read more about candles and binary options see our binary option page.
When the red candle crosses the green we will place a down trade for the exit ladder option below the current price.
(We will post a video of how to follow this strategy soon, please sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know).
Things to look out for -
• This is a good strategy but, as will all strategies in binary options, it will not work 100% of the time. You will experience losses as well as wins.
• If you get anxiety, nervous, scared when placing trades or over think placing trades, please note that binary options is a form of gambling and can become highly addictive. If you feel that binary options is not for you and you feel too much emotion attached to your trades, stop immediately and seek another money making option, see our home page for more.
GamCare offer a telephone service if you need to speak to someone about it here.
• Only trade in the morning or evening using this strategy. Check to see if there will be any announcements for your chosen currency as this can change the charts considerably.
