 Stocks and Shares

Without all the complication!

"Your capital is at risk"

The trading of Stocks and Shares is buying or selling financial instruments through a trading platform or broker.

Most platforms and brokers offer different assets to buy and sell. These include; Stocks, Shares, Commodities, Indices, and Forex.

What are  Commodities?

Commodities are raw materials such as; Coffee, Sugar or Copper.

What are Indices?

Indice trading also known as Index trading are the top shares from a particular exchange.

For example the FTSE 100 is the largest 100 companies traded on the London stock exchange.

Investors use indexes to track the performance of the stock market.

What is Forex?

Forex is when you trade in currencies. If you buy some Euros with GBP money and then decide 2 weeks later that you are not going on the holiday for whatever reason, and exchange your Euros back to GBP you can expect to make a loss or a profit. This is the same as trading on the Forex market, but online.

Trading is buying a selling products online.

How do I trade?

You select you product (Stocks, Shares, Commodities, Indices, and Forex) and select the buy button at your chosen time. If the price goes up you gain a profit, if the price goes down you loose money and can sell at anytime before you loose it all.

Some investors leave the share even if it goes down, as from their research they believe it may rise again. You can be a long term investor or a day trader dependent on how long you are willing to wait for your return on investment.

When the buyers outweigh the sellers, demand for the market rises. As a result, the price of the asset climbs.

When it’s the other way round, supply increases and demand for the asset starts to drop – and the price falls.
